Professional Conduct Standards
General Expectations
All employees are expected to:
- Perform work competently and honestly
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Comply with all applicable laws
- Treat others with respect and dignity
- Represent the company professionally
- Report violations and concerns
Workplace Behavior
Expected Behavior:
- Professional communication
- Respectful interactions
- Cooperative teamwork
- Honest dealings
- Punctuality and reliability
- Proper dress and appearance
Prohibited Behavior:
- Harassment of any kind
- Discrimination
- Violence or threats
- Insubordination
- Theft or dishonesty
- Substance abuse at work
- Misuse of company property
- Unauthorized disclosure of information
Safety Expectations
All Employees Must:
- Follow all safety rules
- Use required PPE
- Report hazards and incidents
- Never take shortcuts
- Stop unsafe work
- Participate in safety training
Violations:
Safety violations may result in immediate disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Harassment and Discrimination
Zero Tolerance Policy
We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination based on:
- Race, color, ethnicity
- Religion
- Sex, gender, gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- National origin
- Age
- Disability
- Veteran status
- Any protected class
Reporting:
Report concerns to supervisor, HR, or through anonymous hotline.
Retaliation:
Retaliation against anyone reporting in good faith is prohibited.
Conflicts of Interest
Avoid situations where personal interests conflict with company interests:
- Business dealings with family/friends
- Outside employment affecting job
- Accepting inappropriate gifts
- Using company resources for personal gain
When in Doubt:
Disclose potential conflicts to your supervisor.
Confidentiality
Protect Confidential Information:
- Client/project information
- Financial data
- Employee information
- Trade secrets
- Bid information
Do Not:
- Share with unauthorized persons
- Use for personal benefit
- Disclose after employment ends
Company Property
Proper Use:
- Use for business purposes
- Protect from damage and theft
- Return upon request or termination
Prohibited:
- Personal use (except as allowed)
- Sharing with unauthorized persons
- Removal without permission
Social Media
Guidelines:
- Don't speak on behalf of company without authorization
- Don't share confidential information
- Don't post content that reflects poorly on company
- Respect others' privacy
- Personal views are your own
Reporting Violations
How to Report:
- Speak to your supervisor
- Contact HR
- Use anonymous reporting (if available)
- Report to management
No Retaliation:
Good faith reports will be investigated and reporters protected from retaliation.
Consequences
Violations of this Code may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Written warning
- Suspension
- Termination
- Legal action (if applicable)
Severity depends on the nature and circumstances of the violation.
